Grandfather Clocks

This is the most beautiful grandfather clock I have ever seen. It’s perfect for my home, and would look amazing in my living room. It’s the Howard Miller Newell Grandfather Clock and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I always thought of grandfather clocks as looking old, but this new grandfather clock looks more modern and suitable for my living space. I’ve been thinking alot more lately about getting a grandfather clock, because I think it adds a certain look and feel to the area that you place it in. Some people probably don’t think of using grandfather clocks in home decor, especially those who are going for a more modern look, but with the new selection of grandfather clocks available to consumers, I don’t see why everyone doesn’t get one. They not only look great, but make amazing conversation pieces. There are so many different types and styles nowadays that I’m almost certain that anyone can find a new grandfather clock to suit their tastes. Plus I personally think a grandfather clock is something that you will have in your family for many years to come. My favorite clocks are the Howard Miller line. I love looking at all the different clocks and can imagine how wonderfully some of them would look in my home.

I was going through some stuff and I found this cute photo taken a few months ago. He’s so cute and cuddly, even at 8 years old I still love cuddling with him. I just thought this was too adorable not to share. Children always look so angelic when they are sleeping.

Boyfriend’s Belated Birthday Gift

My boyfriend’s birthday just passed and I didn’t get him a gift because I was in the hospital having just had surgery. I’ve decided to get him a belated birthday gift but I couldn’t think of what I should get him. I decided though, on a paella pan and a new video game. If don’t know what a paella pan is, it’s a pan used to cook a certain type of rice. He just graduated from culinary school last year and is really into cooking and trying new types of foods. I figure since he likes rice, and you can actually do alot with a paella pan, that it would be a perfect gift. They have them available on mysonproducts.com in a variety of styles. They have stainless steel, non-sticking, enameled steel, copper, and even polished steel. Not a bad selection.

Well, it looks like my little punkin is going to soon have a new little girl cousin soon. My friend, and Eric’s Aunt Erica is having a little girl in a few months. They just found out the gender of the baby a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure she’s thrilled. I think Erica will make an excellent mother, she’s lived her life and had her fun, and settled down nicely. I’m so happy for her.

Speaking of babies, Eric called me from my mom’s yesterday (yes he’s still there) to tell me that my mom was babysitting my cousin’s newborn son. Eric was so excited to have him there, he adores babies so much it’s not even funny. He’s constantly asking me to “give him a brother or sister”. HAH. No more kids for me, but I sure don’t mind other people’s babies. Babies are usually so cute and cuddly. They lose their cuteness at about age 3-4 though, especially if they turn into obnoxious little children.

Anyway, remember that old saying.. “What are little boys made of?” - Answer: “Frogs and snails and puppydog tails.” “What are little girls made of?” - Answer: “Sugar and spice and everything nice.”. I don’t believe this to be true because honestly I have had a pretty easy time with my little boy and I have friends who have little girls who are heathens. My son does like frogs and snails though, so I dunno. LOL.
