Eric sometimes brings home some cute things he’s written either in his journal or at school in his creative writing time. Here’s something that I found to be adorable and the end of it gave me a little chuckle.

If I saw an ant…
I would not squish the ant because it is a living thing and I know how it would feel if I squished him. Ants are very neat because they are the only insect that can carry something ten times its own weight and size. Ants will eat almost anything. If I squished the ant alot of other ants would be sad like my mom would be sad if I was squished.

Tell me that’s not cute!

I was going through some of my son’s old school work from last year and I found his creative writing folder. There’s some pretty funny stuff in here, let me tell ya…

Why my son wouldn’t ever want to be a Pirate

I would not want to be a pirate because they are smelly, they never brush their teeth, and they never take a bath. I do not want to be a pirate because they are always on a boat and I would be sea sick. I do not want to be a pirate because they do nothing but look for treasure. I would rather give the treasure to the poor. I do not want to be a pirate because they are jerks, they are rude, and they steal.

I don’t know about anyone else, but that is just too cute.
