It’s hard being a single dating parent. I know alot of single mothers out there don’t really go out on dates much because it’s more like a job than anything else. Besides, most single parents don’t have a lot of time to go “looking”. This makes it terribly difficult for us. Who wants to go out to bars and club hopping anyway? After a certain age, you kind of outgrow that stuff don’t you? I guess that’s what the internet is for, huh? My best friend and two of my aunts both met their current husbands via the internet on various different chat clients or dating sites. My next door neighbor is a single dad to two kids and he asked me the other day if I knew of a place online where he could go to meet Latina Women. This made me kind of chuckle because number one, I’m female. How would I know about finding women?
The funny thing is I have a vast knowledge of the internet and was actually able to suggest to him a couple of places he might be interested in. Go figure. I told him to check out a couple of singles sites like latinaromance.com where membership doesn’t cost anything. You can chat with and meet people and get to know them without having to pay an arm and a leg for the services. I hope I was a help to him. I do know how difficult finding someone who shares your same interests can be, especially when you have children.

As many of you know from reading previous blogs, I’ve been thinking about going back to work or starting up my own home-based business. Basically, I need the money. I have been thinking about starting my own telephone answering service that I can run right from my home. The only thing I’d need help with I think is getting my website set up. I do dabble in web design myself and I know enough to create a simple personal website, but creating a business site is a completely different story. I know that it takes alot more skill and knowledge than I posess, and I’d definitely want to hire out a company that is trusted and well known in their industry. I had considered paying an acquaintance to get it done, because he does Web Design on the side, but I after brief consideration I decided against it because if I am going to try to run a successful business, I need a successful and professional website. Heritage Web Design offers just that, a well-known and trusted professional web site development ompany with a very large client base and extensive knowledge in their field. I even considered once starting up my own small web-designing company, but after seeing the work Heritage can do, I know that I don’t have anywhere near the skill that they have, and wouldn’t probably be very successful at it.

For awhile now I have been considering returning to my old career as a skip tracer. My main reasons for this aside from the money aspect is that I can do most if not all of my work from home, which would benefit myself and my child in the long run. Child care expenses are through the roof, as any parent knows. Anyway, I’ve been asked time and time again what being a skip tracer entails. It’s basically finding people who don’t want to be found. In all actuality anyone can be a good skip tracer. There are numerous online resources to help you in your searches, and some of them are even free. You can access various public records including property taxes, Marriage Records, and in some states you can even access voter and vehicle registration records. All you have to do is simply find the right website to do the searches, and believe me there are plenty. One such website that I think would be very useful in said searching would be USMarriageRecords.Org. There you can search for marriage records by entering certain search criteria such as County, City, State or Zip Code. Sites like that with online database searches have been proven very helpful to me in my old line of work.
