Just Some Stuff I Wanted To Write About

I ordered Eric some jeans from Sears.Com last night. It’s been getting code and he’s outgrown the jeans that fit him just 3 months ago. He’s a growing boy, though. That’s what kids do.

Anyway, I drove Eric to my mom’s house and got to see my cousin’s new baby tonight. She babysits the baby while my cousin and his wife work. He’s so adorable. I mean I know most babies are adorable, but some are like extra super adorable or something. He knows he’s a cutie, too. He’s a happy little boy, and is super ticklish. Grr.. I’m getting the “I want one” feeling right now because I absolutely love babies. Deep down though, I know I don’t really want another child, but man are babies cute. Babies always make me feel good inside for some reason, and that’s something I don’t feel very often.

Anyway, while Eric is at my mom’s I’m going to relax a little bit and I’m also going to try to get some much needed cleaning done. The much needed cleaning actually consists of going through my son’s room and trying to figure out a way to make room for the new stuff he’ll be getting at Christmas. That’s going to be tough.

Your Amazon.Com Order Has Shipped!

I did some online Christmas shopping a couple of days ago, and some of the kidd’s Christmas gifts are on their way! I’m relieved to have gotten some of it done. I’m usually finished by now but I’ve just been preoccupied I guess. I haven’t been “into” the holidays this year like I usually am. I’m pretty sure alot of that has to do with some personal issues that I’m going through right now. I don’t want to elaborate on that right now, though. Anyway, I have several things still that I am going to get him, all of which I should be able to pick up at Toys R Us. It shouldn’t be too hard, because I know my kid pretty well and I know what he likes and doesn’t like. I also don’t believe in getting a ton of senseless gifts just for the simple fact of “having alot of presents”. I put alot of thought into each and every item that I choose for my son, that way none of his gifts ever go “untouched”.

Right now he’s really into Lego Star Wars stuff, and it seems that every other boy around his age is also because that stuff is kinda hard to find at the moment. I did manage to get him some of the things that were on his Christmas list, and hopefully I’ll be able to find a few more things that he really wants. I’m not going to get him every single thing on his list though, that would be absurd. My son is spoiled, but he’s not THAT spoiled. LOL

I’m Writing About Christmas Again.. So Sue Me.

Well, the kiddo has put a few expensive items on his Christmas list this year. One of them being a Nintendo Wii. At this point though, my parents owe me roughly $300 and I was planning on using that money for Christmas when they paid me back, but they’ve yet to do so. I’ll rant more about that later. Anyway, I basically explained to Eric that he probably won’t be getting such an expensive gift this year. I mean he’s barely going to be 9 in a few days and the Wii is like close to $400. I did want to get him one, but at this point it just doesn’t seem like a good idea. I think I’ll be waiting until he’s a bit more responsible to spend so much on a video game system. As it is, he doesn’t even want to ever pick up after himself or do anything around the house or even clean his room. How can I possibly expect him to take care of such an expensive toy? Anyway, he also said he wants a Nintendo DS and a video camera. Those items are doable, but I’m not saying whether or not he’s getting either or both simply for the fact that he may be snooping around on here. I kind of miss the days when he was really little and couldn’t read! LOL. I’m just kidding about that. (Maybe.)
