Last weekend my kiddo went to my mom’s for the weekend and when I went to pick him up I spent a little time visiting with my grandma. Since her husband passed away last November she’s been staying with my mom while they get the place next to my mom’s move-in ready for my grandma to rent it out. It’s owned by the same family that owns my mom’s house and they were glad to have my grandma move in because the previous tenant never paid the rent or anything.
It’s going to be weird for my grandma to live all by herself but at least living near my mom, it might be so bad. While I was there she took me next door to show me what the place looked like inside and also to show off her new sofa. It’s really not new, it’s an antique sofa that was bought at an antique shop and reupholstered to suit my grandma’s taste. She seemed real proud of it. She showed me everything from the new carpet and paint jobs to the new plumbing fixtures and bathroom tile.
I’m happy for her to finally be getting back on her feet and to not be sleeping on my mom’s sofa, but from what my mom said it seems that she’s kind of nervous about living all by herself. The place is basically ready to be lived in but grandma keeps procrastinating.

There are many things that I love about the internet. The one thing that I love the most about the internet though, is the fact that you can pretty much find anything that you’re looking for. If it exists, you can probably find it on the internet, whether it be a product, song lyrics, videos, a quote or just about anything else. If you’re looking for a hard to find product, the internet is the place to search. You can find long lost loved ones, school friends, addresses, phone numbers, and even a date. If you would like to get information on a vehicle, if you’d like to see quotes online for term life insurance, or if you just want to read up on something, the internet is the place to be. With all of the world at your fingertips it’s a wonder anyone even leaves their home anymore. Haha.

I’m so sick of email spam it’s not even funny. I get more spam than I do real email in *every* email box I own and I really don’t even know why. I don’t sign up for stuff, I don’t put my email address out there on the web, so I’m just confused as to how I’m getting all of this spam.
I just checked my son’s email and he is getting tons of spam too. Seriously why would a 10 year old need to talk to someone about a mortgage or a home insurance quote? Trust me, he doesn’t own a home nor does he need to go over mortgage rates. Maybe one day, when I am a home owner or ready to become a home owner, I’ll need to get a quote on home insurance, or find the best mortgage rates known to man but right now it’s irrelevant.
This is total spam filter fail, in my opinion.
