As I’ve mentioned on numerous other occasions, I have a bunch of childrens books that I am planning to sell. My son has outgrown them and I want to use the money from the sale of the books to go towards more age appropriate books. He has a ton of books for beginning readers through first grade level, so I was thinking before I post them up on Amazon, eBay or Craigslist (I’m not sure which, yet) that I would mention it again here to see if anyone may be interested in any of them. If you might want to buy some used childrens books that are in either new or excellent condition, send me an email to angela {at} coveted {dot} net and let me know.
He has several Junie B. Jones books, tons of Dr. Seuss and Disney early reader books. He’s got a complete 10 book set of The Magic School Bus books, as well as tons of others. So if you are interested, just let me know.

Eric was chosen to be a book reviewer for his school’s library. That means when new books come in, and the librarian doesn’t have time to read them, he will bring the new book home, read it and then give the librarian a detailed review of the book. I think that’s pretty cool, and that he was chosen is a huge compliment. Especially since he’s a 3rd grader. She could have chosen a 5th grader to do it, but instead she chose my 3rd grader. ::head swells::
Anyway, he’s currently reading this book (which I can’t remember the name) with 3 diferent stories in it. He must really like it, he’s been reading it every spare minute he gets. He was even reading it on the way home from school on the school bus. Too cute.

Eric’s teacher sent home a scholastic book order form home. It’s the first one this year. I’m glad in a way because I believe a child can never have too many books. On the downside, I don’t have alot of money to spare right now. I’m probably going to send up spending more than I should, but I think I’m also going to pick a few things for Christmas gifts. They have some cool science stuff I know he’d really like. Anyway, this is just another reminder to get all the books listed up that I wanted to sell. I haven’t done it yet, and I’ve been saying that I’m going to do it for months. Well, whatever, I’m a procrastinator I guess. There’s just always so much I have to do.
I still haven’t gotten everything situated for his birthday. This is really unlike me to be perfectly honest. By this time I usually have all the shopping done for Christmas and everything.
