FREE Slurpee
When I was a little girl, my mom worked at 7-11. Everyday after school I would go to the store that she worked at and get a free slurpee from either my mom, or if she wasn’t at work, then whoever was at the time. They all knew me there. As I got older, I still continued to go to 7-11 every day to get a slurpee, even though it was no longer free. I love slurpees. Unfortunately, there are no longer any 7-11 stores in my area. They were bought out many years ago. So I no longer have the luxury of being able to go buy a slurpee at my leisure.
Back in 2008, when Hurricane Ike struck our area we were forced to evacuate. We ended up in the Dallas area, in a hotel directly behind a 7-11. We were there for about 10 days and I went and bought a slurpee every single day that I was there. It’s just too bad we no longer have 7-11 here. Icees just aren’t the same.
