Spring Break, Yay!!!!
Well, Spring break is finally here! I’ve been looking forward to it for some time now. I get a week off from school and so does the kiddo. He’s spending Spring break with my parents. They live out in the country and he loves it out there plus it’s good for me to get a little time off from my job as mommy.
I took him to my mom’s Friday afternoon and spent a little time with my mom and grandma while I was out there. Grandma finally moved in next door mid-week which gives my mom some relief. Grandma gave me some cool blue glasses that match the glass tea pitcher I got from Pier 1 a few years back, which was pretty cool. She also said she’s going to have a yard sale and get rid of a lot of stuff and she wants me to come over and go through it all and pick out things I might like before she does. My grandma has some cool stuff she’s collected over the years so even if I don’t want any of it, it’ll be interesting and fun to look at it all.
Anyway, I don’t have anything planned for this week. I’m looking forward to lots of alone time, but I’m also looking forward to spending time with a certain someone and a couple of friends, too. Since we got an Xbox 360 everyone has been wanting to hang out at my place, which is okay sometimes but I am the type of person who appreciates alone time.
