I’m anxiously awaiting the receipt of my 1099 tax forms for last year so that I can file my taxes and get my pretty little refund. I’ve been doing a little internet "window shopping", looking at furniture and what not. I want to get a new coffee table. The one I have is a freebie that I received several years ago from my parents. It’s not a bad coffee table but it’s more on the antique side and I’m more into the modern or traditional styles and since I’m moving I want to get a new coffee table that goes better with the decor of my living space.

When I first moved into the current place I am living I had to get a lot of new furniture because my old apartment had flooded and many things were ruined. I remember when I was shopping for new furniture I was more geared towards modern sofas and things with squared, defined lines. I like the way they look, very crisp and clean. Even though my sofa looks more modern, it’s exceptionally comfortable too. Comfort is important. Now that I have that sofa, though, I need a coffee table that is better suited towards the style of the sofa and other furniture in the room.
