Eric’s Back From Grandma’s And Other Stuff
Eric’s home from my mom’s now. I went and picked him up on Sunday. He had a fun time over there and on Sunday at church he made my step-dad a father’s day gift. It was a really cute little container they made with peanuts in it, lol. Anyway, he went to VBS today and had a great time. He really liked it. It’s not at our regular church though, it’s a different one cause the regular church had their VBS last week and he wanted to go to my mom’s.
So anyway, I decided that this year instead of going out and buying Eric shorts and stuff for the summer that I would just have my mom turn his pants into shorts. The reason for this is because he has grown a few inches and the pants were becoming too short anyway. So this way I saved about $75-$125 on summer clothing. I really don’t know why I didn’t do that every summer previously.
My mom’s good with a sewing machine. I, on the other hand am just mediocre. She’s much better at everything than I am but I guess that just comes with old age.
When we go to and from my mom’s house we always pass this church with a giant cross. Well last night in the dark it looked so pretty that Eric took a picture of it with my phone. It’s so weird, it’s like 2 stories high.

If you live in the Houston area, it’s right off Beltway 8 West (The south part of the loop) right by 45 heading towards 288. Anyway, it’s pretty, isn’t it?
