I like almost everything in my apartment, especially in my living room. It’s my very favorite place to be. I’ve spent alot of time getting it to look exactly how I want it and I pretty much have it perfected except for one thing. I really don’t like my tv stand all that much. I bought it for my old television which broke after I only had it for about a year. I think the reason it stopped working is because my old apartment flooded and the moisture got to it. Anyway, my current tv is an LCD HD flat panel and I am thinking of looking for either a different type of stand or maybe even a wall mount for it. I haven’t quite decided yet. All I do know is that I want something different for the Tv. I hate being picky.

A Funny Thing About The Previous Post

In the previous post, I put up pictures of my son using my camera phone. He took pictures of himself wearing his medals that he got from school for doing so well on some tests. The pictures were taken in my bathroom mirror. He’d never taken a mirror picture before and what was funny is that I am very unhappy with the standard, ugly lighting fixtures in my bathroom so I kept having to tell him to make sure he didn’t get them in the picture. They are so ugly. I want new ones but I’m not sure if the apartments I live in will allow me to make changes like that. Hopefully, though, because I hate the fixtures I have now!

My Smart Little Man

Friday was the awards ceremony at Eric’s school. All that really means is the students are given awards for excellence in various categories. Eric received 2 medals and 2 cerificates for his scores on the Math and Reading TAKS tests. He got a perfect score in the reading part and he was certain he would get a perfect score on math, too. But he didn’t. He did really well though, he only missed one question and I think that’s just awesome. The students who did really well got commendations, so he got two. He is so proud of himself.

When he came home Friday, he wanted to take some pictures of his medals for me to “put on my blog” he said. So I told him he could take a couple of pictures on my phone and I’d put them up. It was funny because he has never taken a picture of himself in the mirror on my phone before so he had a little trouble with it at first. He did pretty good, though. He looks so proud of himself.

I am so proud of my little man. He’s amazing! (and adorable)
