Library Book = Found
Well first of all, the missing library book was found. Apparently he left it in his desk and then one day when they were cleaning the floors the desks got switched around and even though he managed to get all of his belongings out of his old desk, the book got overlooked. He realized that it might be in there and asked the occupant of the new desk to double check and there it was. So I avoided that $17 fee. 
Eric just took the 3rd grade TAKs test, and he feels he did very well. The scores won’t come in until after Spring Break, so we’ll see then I suppose. As long as he did his very best, that’s fine with me. I sometimes my expectations are kind of high but I feel that he is fully capable of making perfect scores. I do sometimes get a little disappointed when he brings home an 85 or an 80, but I don’t let him see that disappointment because a B is still not bad. It’s just that I know he can do so much better.
Anyway, I no longer have to take Eric up to the front of the apartments each morning to catch the bus. His friend Nicholas who lives in our building but around the corner walks to the bus every morning. Usually his mom walks with him but for the most part he walks alone and she asked if Eric and Nicholas could start walking together. It works out because now he has someone to walk with.
