Eric brought home last week’s conduct sheet with 3 conduct marks on it. I am less than thrilled. It’s not that bad for a week, but still. I sometimes wonder if maybe I expect too much from him, because I honestly expect him to get zero conduct marks. Is this unrealistic or what?
On Friday, his class had their Valentine’s party. Each child is designated to bring something for the party and Eric’s teacher chose for him to bring the cookies. (I think I said that in a previous post.) Anyway, so he wanted me to make them homemade, so I did. I personally think they turned out really good and so did his teacher. She took some home and sent a note saying that any time I want to make cookies for her or the class, I am more than welcome. I love getting compliments like that.
Anyway, here’s a picture of the cookies. I would throw the recipe up here but I simply don’t feel like it. The cookies and the icing are both fairly easy to make. The hardest part is rolling it out and using the cutouts without them sticking. If you want the recipe, shoot me an email and I’ll hook you up.

With the economy in such a state, and medical insurance being something that most people can’t even afford these days it’s a relief that there are companies like Zenni that can help get you Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank. If you haven’t heard already, Zenni is home to the $8 prescription eyeglasses. I’ve honestly ordered a couple of pair from their site and I must admit that I’m really pleased with them thus far. Being that they are so cheap, you can order more than one pair. As a matter of fact you can order several pairs of glasses and have glasses to match every outfit in your closet. If you want to learn more about Zenni, and the glasses they have to offer, you can read about Zenni Optical in the New York Times?! I have read several articles about Zenni, lately and most of the reviews are extremely good. There is always going to be someone who is not happy, though. I really can’t get over it, though. You can get eyeglasses for as low as $8. It’s almost crazy.
Anyway I was internet “window shopping” and found another pair I really like. As soon as I get my new prescription I’m going to order this pair and a few others. I like them because I’m kinda nerdy like that.
If you need glasses and are running low on cash just remember you can get Prescription eyeglasses for only $8! from Zenni Optical.
