He’s Getting There..
Eric has kept his room clean (for the most part) for well over a week now. I’m so happy that I can walk by his room and not see a huge mess. His room still is a bit cluttered because it’s small and Eric simply has way too much stuff. I’ve been considering doing a little redecorating and adding another bookshelf as well as some sort of wooden looking blinds, maybe even Bamboo Blinds because I really like the way they look. I want his room to appear more like a bigger kid’s room, I mean he’s almost in the double digits so it’s time to make a few changes but nothing drastic. I already replaced his old desk with a much nicer, more mature desk that should last him several years and hopefully well into his teens. I eventually would like to get him some under-the-bed organization as well as a better storage method for his board games and what not. I already got rid of most of his “baby” toys and little kid stuff, so the transition into a “big boy” room shouldn’t be too tough for him.
