I recently wrote about how my son’s mouth is getting him in trouble at school. He can’t seem to stop talking. Well, his mouth is getting him in trouble at home, too. Earlier today a little hispanic girl knocked on my door to tell me that my son called her little sister an a**hole. The little girl he cursed at couldn’t have been more than 4, and she’s just completely adorable. Although I can believe my child would say something like that, because he’s a bit of a jerk sometimes, I just couldn’t believe he would say it to this sweet little girl. To make matters worse he took off because he knew he’d be in troublea and I had to go hunt him down. I found him up in the front of our apartment complex riding his bike acting like he didn’t do anything. Needless to say I was not only pissed about the whole cursing at the little girl but also for making me actually have to go find him. I gave him the choice of getting soap in his mouth and being grounded and cleaning up the living room and being grounded. He chose cleaning. Lately his attitude has been really getting to me, and he’s lucky that I’m his mom. If my mom was his, she’d have beaten the crap out of him by now.
