Okay, it was brought to my attention that on a previous post instead of saying “It’s been getting COLD” I typed “It’s been getting CODE”. LOL! Chris is the only one who told me, so either no one really reads my posts, they don’t pay attention, they just don’t care enough to tell me about these retarded mistakes, or they think I’m a retard hick who says code instead of cold. I am from Texas, so I guess the latter is pretty understandable. I think from now on instead of “getting” I’m going to type “gittin” just because. Ok, I won’t really. But it has been getting code… just saying.
Anyway, I think I’ve blogged enough for one day. I have a ton of things to do, and sitting here typing away on my keyboard isn’t getting it done. It’s just that I had to get some stuff done online, too, and there’s simply never enough time in the day. Especially when you have the flu. Yes, I forgot to mention it, but I’m terribly ill right now. I’m glad Eric’s at my mom’s because I probably couldn’t do much for him since I have to keep stopping whatever I’m doing and laying down for a bit. The worst thing about the flu in my opinion is the body aches and the horrible chills from fever. Ugh.
Anyway, I just wanna say that although it was really nice of Dr Pepper to offer free drinks to everyone, it would have been even nicer still if the page actually could handle the overload of visitors because I am not able to get through. Hmph.

I’m currently in the process of going through my son’s Geo Trax train set and getting it ready to sell on Craigslist. I’m hoping to get about $125 for it. He started collecting the Geo Trax trains when he was about 3, and since then he’s gotten a ton of them. He used to play with them every day, but he’s 9 year old now, and I guess he’s outgrown the set. They are for younger children, even though I still think they are fun. They’ve been sitting packed away for quite some time now, and honestly I need to make room for new stuff, if you know what I mean. He barely has any room in his bedroom as it is for anything, and my closet was also full of stuff that he hadn’t played with in quite awhile. The Geo Trax themselves takes up 3 giant sized plastic bins and doesn’t leave alot of room in my closet for much else. My closet is more of a storage area right now, and I’m kind of tired of it.
Anyway, he’s ok with me selling his Geo Trax stuff. We discussed it and he doesn’t use it anymore, plus I told him I’d use the money to buy him Christmas presents. He’s especially ok with that. I guess the only thing is, I didn’t expect it to take so long to go through all of the train sets. I had to verify that each train still worked. He has 5 battery powered trains, and he has 3 or 4 that are not powered.
I’m also going to go through his closet and his bedroom and start getting rid of some of his old and broken stuff. He’s a big boy now, and doesn’t need half the junk he still has, plus with all the new toys coming in this year, he’s just not going to have space for it all.

So many of you already know that since the Guns N Roses album Chinese Democracy, which had been “in the works” for a good 17 years, was finally released today, Dr Pepper is giving away a free Dr Pepper, but you have to register with their website. This offer is only good for 24 hours, so that means there’s approximately 8 hours left to go.
Anyway, that’s not the reason I’m actually writing about it here though. My son is at my mom’s until Thanksgiving, and this morning my step-dad called me and told me that my son informed him they were giving away free dr peppers because GnR released their new album today. How he knew that I do not know, but he wanted my step-dad to call and make sure to tell me not to forget to get his free Dr. Pepper coupon for him.
I thought that was incredibly cute.
