Eric’s teacher sent home a scholastic book order form home. It’s the first one this year. I’m glad in a way because I believe a child can never have too many books. On the downside, I don’t have alot of money to spare right now. I’m probably going to send up spending more than I should, but I think I’m also going to pick a few things for Christmas gifts. They have some cool science stuff I know he’d really like. Anyway, this is just another reminder to get all the books listed up that I wanted to sell. I haven’t done it yet, and I’ve been saying that I’m going to do it for months. Well, whatever, I’m a procrastinator I guess. There’s just always so much I have to do.
I still haven’t gotten everything situated for his birthday. This is really unlike me to be perfectly honest. By this time I usually have all the shopping done for Christmas and everything.

While the Scholastic books are great you might be better off trying the Salvation Army or some kind of second hand book store. You can find really great quality books for fairly cheap sometimes.
You can also look in the newspaper at garage sales. Scope out the ones that have kids stuff in them. You can find lots of books there too.
I agree! A person can never have too many books!
I’ve done most of my Christmas shopping online – I haven’t been able to go out much..eep.
Aww well I hope you get those books listed soon so you can make back some of the money you’re spending on new books this year.
When I was a kid, even though we had a lot of books, we also visited the library a lot to save money. Also, second-hand bookshops usually have some great bargains.
