Home Decor Shows Are My Fave

I’ve been really into those home decorating and home remodeling shows for quite some time now. I’m quite sure I’ve mentioned on more than one occasion that I love HGTv. Anyway, if there’s one thing I’ve started taking a liking to, and having a preference for, it’s Moen faucets. I absolutely love the way they look. The styles are amazing. Everytime they use them on one of the home makeover shows I watch, I just fall in love and want to get them for my own sinks, showers and tubs. I wonder if they’ll let me install new hardware on the sinks and stuff in this apartment?

Keeping Warm

I live in Texas, and it doesn’t get too cold here usually until around January. Last week, however, it got super cold and I was freezing. I don’t run the heater because it’s electric and since it isn’t used all year it smells really funky when you first run it. Plus the last time I turned it on, all of our smoke alarms went off all at the same time. So last week when I was freezing and cuddling up under 3 blankets to keep warm, I thought about how wonderful a heated blanket would be. It’d be so warm and cuddly and I wouldn’t have to even worry about turning on the heater. It’s funny because I overheard Eric telling my mom that she should get me an electric blanket for Christmas. Isn’t that kind of the same thing?

Family And The Holidays

I called my aunt today. I hadn’t talked to her in awhile, and I had meant to call her on her birthday that recently passed but I was really sick that day. I also didn’t call her on Thanksgiving, but she said it was ok because she forgot to call her own mom on Thanksgiving. So I don’t feel so bad. Anyway, she asked what Eric wanted for Christmas, and I basically told her anything Star Wars related. He’s into Star wars Transformers and Lego Star Wars stuff right now big time. She said that my cousin got him a baseball glove. He doesn’t play baseball, but she’s young so it was a nice gesture and he’ll thank her for the gift either way. I’m thinking about getting my cousin the newest Twilight book, cause my aunt says she’s really into them right now and they are going to see the movie tomorrow. I’ve been curious about that. I mean to be quite honest, the movie looks pretty good, but the books.. I’m not sure I’m too interested in reading about teenage vampires and what not. It’s all just too weird to me.
