I read your post and the one about beating him made me laugh.

I had one of these same days the other day. I picked up the whole living room right after I put my two yr old down to sleep. About thirty minutes later he was screaming so I went in to see what was wrong and his diaper was leaking all over the place. So, I had to get him out and change his sheets and go through the whole deal.

I figured it would be useless to try to lay him back down after all that commotion so I just let him play while I cleaned up his bed.

I go back in the living room to find my soda spilled over and toys all over the living room floor again.

I just had to laugh cause otherwise I would have been pulling my hair out!

And don't even get me started on the dog! : )

Oh I absolutely think that's legal and that's what I would do. That's just impossible to tolerate. Though my 25-year old "little man" leaves a mess everywhere he goes and it's so hard to get him to pick it up. Bleh.
