Most people love weekends, don’t they? Staying home, sleeping in, and relaxing are reasons to really love the weekend. But when you are a work at home parent, it might be a different story. I don’t like the weekends all that much. I get nothing done and my home is a wreck. I like the weekdays when I can get my son off to school early and get some things done around the house, as well as get a ton of work done before he even gets home. I also have time to take a nap usually.
Anyway, I don’t want to spend the next few posts complaining or ranting, I’m just feeling pretty frustrated these days. Maybe I’m PMS’ing. That would explain it.
I’ve decided to help my son clean his room today. I can’t stand it anymore, I hate even going in there. It’s such a wreck, and it’s obvious he won’t be doing anything about it any time soon, no matter how many times I tell him to clean it. He’ll get started, but he’s so slow that it takes hours just to get anything done and then it gets late.. and nothing is really accomplished. I’m thinking of throwing out alot of his toys that I feel he doesn’t use anymore or that are broken. He has too much crap, taking up too much space, and he doesn’t pick up anything so it looks like a huge pile of junk. Maybe I’ll be in a better mood once that pig sty is cleaned up. >;[

It’s so true, when i was young i love weekends! but now that I’m WAHM, My views changed and sometimes my eldest is such a pain. Oh well, That’s life.
The only way I can get my husband to clean is if I help him too. It’s the same way. But see, you hand him something and he either keeps it or tosses it, and it’s so much faster than having him clean it himself, cause all he does it find something and start playing with it. Sometimes I think I’m married to an 8 year old so HA I feel your pain. I’ve always wondered this, what do you do when you work from home? I mean yea I know you do the paid to blog stuff, but do you do other work from home things too?
