Do you ever find yourself thinking about your childhood best friend, or that long lost relative you haven’t seen in years and years? I sometimes reminisce about my high school days and get to thinking about my old friends and wondering what they are up to. Nowadays it’s pretty easy to find people, though, with People Locator services like WorldWidePeopleLocator.Com. All you have to know is the subject’s name. There are so many more people I wonder about. And I also wonder if sometimes someone is thinking about looking me up. Do you ever wonder that?

Yesterday my son brought home a permission slip for his first field trip in the 3rd grade. They are going to a place called an Oil Ranch. I was curious about this, because I wasn’t sure what this place actually was. I pictured a place with oil all over the place. I googled it though, and found out that it’s basically a ranch. I mean I’m sure that it has something to do with oil, but what the children go there for probably has nothing to do with oil. There’s a petting zoo, horses to groom and feed, beef cattle which can also be hand fed, and dairy cows that the kids will actually get to milk themselves. I have never milked a cow before, and I’m not sure I would want to. Eric will love this place though. He loves nature, he loves animals, and his favorite part will be getting to see all the newborn animals which they also have plenty off from what their website said. Anyway, I guess the $6 for admission is well worth it. I totally don’t remember if the thing said I needed to pack him a lunch or not though.

I remember several years back I found myself having to try and find court records on my son’s father because we were going to court for child support and visitation and I didn’t want him to get any unsupervised visitation because of his violent past and criminal history. I was told I needed to bring in any documented proof that I have and also bring witnesses to the violent behavior if there were any. The witnesses were not hard to come by at all, but the court documents were a little tougher. He was raised in Oklahoma and also served time in prison there. He was also in jail there several times and served probation there, which he had violated when he moved back to Texas. Anyway, to make a long story short, I had to find a way to get Oklahoma Court Records and it wasn’t easy because there weren’t all these websites and databases like there are now. If there had been a place like CourtRecordsSearch.Net back then my search probably would have been alot easier. There you can search nationally for court records as long as you know the subject’s first and last name. I did eventually get the information I needed with a little help from an old friend, but it was a bit of a process. Needless to say he did not get any unsupervised visitation rights.
