Plagiarism!

What do you do if you find out that one or more of your posts have been stolen and copied to someone else’s website? I found a recent post I wrote up – What Influence Do YOU have On Your Children? has been copied word for word by www.parentingtipstoday.com. The post can be viewed HERE. I left them a comment requesting that it be removed, but I don’t really know what good that’s going to do. It seems every single one of their posts are plagiarized. I don’t think the owner of this blog has written a single one of these articles. This disturbs me on several levels. I am not claiming to be an awesome writer or the best blogger, but I do write my own posts and I really don’t appreciate someone coming along and stealing my work for their own benefit. I also don’t get the point of even having any type of blog site if you are going to just steal other people’s blog posts. I also realize that the website in question seems to only have one purpose and that is to generate revenue with ads. Whatever. I am adding the copyscape banner here, even though I doubt it will do any good at this point.

COPY CAT

They say imitation is the best form of flattery, but I am not freaking flattered. I wonder who I can contact to get my post and/or that person’s website taken down. Hmph!

Oh wow, that’s just awful. What a terrible website! Too,it’s like they copied a section of the post and it just cuts off. What losers they are.
