I’m absolutely going crazy here. Being stuck in a hotel room really sucks. I’d go out and do some site seeing, but I’m basically right by an airport and there’s not much around here. I also don’t know this city very well and need to save what little money I have left for food and gas. Speaking of gas, since hurricane Ike, gas prices have soared to well over $5 per gallon, and could get higher. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
Anyway, I’m thankful for the high speed internet that you get with the hotel stay, but it’s so laggy from everyone using it that it’s hard to get anything online done. So please understand if I don’t return comments and do my entrecard dropping right away. I will get to it all just as soon as I can, I promise. I know anyone who reads my blog regularly probably understands and won’t hold it against me. I’m hoping that the apartment we move into tomorrow has quicker internet service. That would be so great.
Anyway, I hope all of you reading this, your family or friends, or anyone you know who may have been affected by this disgusting hurricane are safe.

That sucks about the gas prices, but I’m sure the storm knocked out a lot of supplies. Do you know when you might be returning? I still haven’t heard from work whether the building is open or not, and our satellite dish is out so we can’t really get the news other than online, so I don’t know about flooded roads. So we’re pretty much still sitting around heh.
