Eric sometimes brings home some cute things he’s written either in his journal or at school in his creative writing time. Here’s something that I found to be adorable and the end of it gave me a little chuckle.
If I saw an ant…
I would not squish the ant because it is a living thing and I know how it would feel if I squished him. Ants are very neat because they are the only insect that can carry something ten times its own weight and size. Ants will eat almost anything. If I squished the ant alot of other ants would be sad like my mom would be sad if I was squished.

Since I had my surgery, I can’t do any heavy lifting or anything at all that causes strain, but we needed to move Eric’s computer desk and dresser to different spots because of the way our cable is set up. In order for us both to have internet, one of us has to be directly connected, and since my apartments won’t allow for the cable to be ran in my room, it has to be set up in his room. In case you’re wondering, before we had DSL, and the DSL was hooked up in my room and Eric was using a wireless adapter on his computer. Anyway, so we had to move his stuff around so that his computer was near the cable coming in. I couldn’t do it… so he did it all by himself. He literally moved all the stuff off of his computer desk, moved it to the opposite wall, and then moved his dresser to the opposite wall as well. He’s quite proud of himself. I made sure he was careful, and “scooted” the stuff so as not to strain himself or hurt himself in any way.
