Sugar And Spice And Everything Nice
Well, it looks like my little punkin is going to have a new little girl cousin soon. My friend, and Eric’s Aunt Erica is having a little girl in a few months. They just found out the gender of the baby a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure she’s thrilled. I think Erica will make an excellent mother, she’s lived her life and had her fun, and settled down nicely. I’m so happy for her.
Speaking of babies, Eric called me from my mom’s yesterday (yes he’s still there) to tell me that my mom was babysitting my cousin’s newborn son. Eric was so excited to have him there, he adores babies so much it’s not even funny. He’s constantly asking me to “give him a brother or sister”. HAH. No more kids for me, but I sure don’t mind other people’s babies. Babies are usually so cute and cuddly. They lose their cuteness at about age 3-4 though, especially if they turn into obnoxious little children.
Anyway, remember that old saying.. “What are little boys made of?” – Answer: “Frogs and snails and puppydog tails.” “What are little girls made of?” – Answer: “Sugar and spice and everything nice.”. I don’t believe this to be true because honestly I have had a pretty easy time with my little boy and I have friends who have little girls who are heathens. My son does like frogs and snails though, so I dunno. LOL.
