Black Friday Shopping

You know, I’ve never understood that whole getting up at 3:00 AM and going to stand in line in front of whatever store to wait for them to open so you can rush in and get stuff for cheap on the day after Thanksgiving. I do understand wanting to save money, but after having been through a couple of black friday sales I just can’t help but think that there has to be a better way to actually shop and still get the black friday deals. I mean, isn’t your time worth something? You aren’t saving that much money if you spend 5 hours in line just to save thirty or forty dollars. Anyway, if you haven’t checked out some of those black friday websites, maybe you should do so. One really neat site in particular is www.blackfriday.biz, which is an online black friday website that will allow you to be able to purchase black friday items right online and still save money. You can avoid all the big crowds of people and still get the products you want at the low prices offered in the stores. What a wonderful idea! Their site also had a shopping list where you can create a list of the items you really want or plan on giving as gifts.

Glowing Germs and GIANTmicrobes

Toxic Mold GIANTmicrobeI absolutely love Steve Spangler, and so does my son. He spends alot of time on the Steve Spangler Science Website. As I’ve said before, one of his favorite subjects in school is science, and he aspires to be a scientist when he grows up. (yeah, awwwwee.) Anyway, as Steve Spangler says, it’s kind of hard to teach kids about germs because you can’t really see them. So now they’ve come up with giant germs, which are basically stuffed germ “animals” that resemble the germs themselves and I guess how they look under a microscope. They’re actually called GIANTmicrobes, and some of them are actually kind of cute. I’m not completely sure about that whole thing, but it’s a neat idea. They even have an H.I.V microbe. If you are interested in any of these you can pick them up at the Steve Spangler website or you can visit www.giantmicrobes.com.

Anyway, along with the GIANTmicrobes toys, there are some other things that you can use to help teach your child about germs. One of these things is called GLO germ lotion and when it’s applied to your hands or any other item, and a black light is used the germs will all glow. You can rub it on your child’s hands early in the morning, it goes on and dries clear, and when the day is over, you can use a blacklight to show your child all of the different things he or she has touched and help teach the importance of washing their hands and also keeping things clean. Check out the video for more info, he explains it alot better than I do.

Being Debt Free Would Be a Dream Come True

I’ve been in debt for a very long time. Lately I have been looking into options to help me get myself out of debt. Right now I am talking with a debt relief consultant. My goal is to become debt free in 12-36 months, which is 1-3 years. There are plenty of debt management companies out there that claim they have the best options available but personally I chose Freedom Debt Relief because the debt relief options they offer are unique and way more beneficial to me than the other companies I looked into. They offer you the ability to lower your debts down to as low as 50% of what you owe. They also offer a Money Back Guarantee on their service fee. Freedom Debt Relief can offer you a better alternative to filing bankruptcy. They also can help you in a more beneficial way than debt consolidation or credit counseling. You basically make one simple monthly payment with them and you will be able to help yourself become debt free. I plan on trying to buy a home within the next five or so years and I would really love to be debt free by the time I invest in a new home. Plus getting myself out of debt would definitely help with my credit, and with being able to get approved for a home.
