I Like This Movado Watch

Cartier Watches at TheWatchery.ComLast week I met my stepdad halfway between my parents’ house and mine so that he could pick up Eric and he could stay with them for a few days before school starts back up. I was nearly half an hour late in meeting him and he has no air conditioning in his vehicle so he was rather angry for having to wait so long. I had given him a time that I would meet him, and said I had a few errands to run beforhand, but I guess time got away from me. He said I should invest in a watch so I’ll always know what time it is. So I’ve been kind of shopping around for watches online. I found a really pretty Movado watch that I like alot. It’s got a pink band and it’s 60% off the regular retail price. I’m actually thinking about ordering that one from thewatchery.com. They are having a really cool promotion right now. Watches with a little “Get a FREE Watch” icon are eligible for free or up to 80% off when you make a selected purchase. So I could possibly get 2 watches for the price of one. I actually found a really pretty
Cartier watch that has the free watch icon, so that means I can get it free! What luck. Now I just have to talk the boyfriend into buying me the watch I want.

Is China Really That Superficial???

LipsyncerA member of China’s Politburo decided that the 7 year old girl who sang “Ode to the Motherland” for the Olympics opening ceremonies was not good looking enough for the Olympics and requested for a better looking girl to lip-sync the song. He said he wanted the voice and the face to “match”. Now, I understand them wanting everything to be perfect and all, but what kind of message is that sending to people, especially the children? Can you imagine how that little girl felt when they said “Hey, sorry but you’re too ugly for the Olympics opening ceremonies, we are replacing you with a pretty girl. But you still have to sing.” I’m disgusted with China at this moment. The sad thing is, the girl who lip-synced is getting all this fame and making headlines when she didn’t even really do anything but stand there moving her mouth. The little girl who did the actual singing was said to have the “most beautiful voice.”

PMS Relief

I went to the doctor on Tuesday morning. It was the first time I saw this doctor, so he went over my entire medical history. We got into talking about my pms problems, because I have really bad pms symptoms and I wanted to know if there was something he could prescribe that would help aleviate those symptoms. He suggested I try progesterone. He said it helps relieve and prevent symptoms of PMS as well as Perimenopause and Menopause. I found this site, ultrapms.com, that sells progesterone creme at a really good price so I might look into it.
