Sorry for the lack of blogging. I recently had surgery and am kind of out of commission for a while. I had surgery on Monday July 28, and I came home Monday August 04. Eric is being super helpful, as I can’t really do much. I am unable to do most of the things that I used to do on a daily basis, so he’s been great. He even did the dishes today. I have staples in my abdomen, which will be coming out on Friday, and I really don’t know what to expect. I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m doing okay, and that I’ll start to post more as I feel up to it.

I’ve had staples in my abdomen several times, no big deal. They take them out with something that really does look like a staple remover, you rub antibiotic ointment on the incision. It doesn’t hurt, just a little light sting here and there.
