Here’s a simple science experiment that my son and I did recently. It’s a little experiment that is used to compare the viscosity, or thickness, of different liquids.
For our experiment we used water, cooking oil and maple syrup. You’ll need to use liquids that are at least a little transparent so that you can see through them. Fill either 3 jars or glasses each with one of the liquids you have chosen. Drop a marble into the water and use a stop watch with a second hand to determine how long it takes to fall to the bottom. Record the result on a piece of paper. Do the same with the other liquids, and then compare to see which one took the longest. Discuss with your child which took the longest and why.
See? I told ya it was simple. If you’ve got any fun ideas for science experiments, comment or email me and let me know. I’d love to hear your ideas.

I’ve really been bugging the boyfriend lately about him buying me a new handbag. I’ve been looking around and have found several that I really adore by Baby Phat. What I particularly like is that the prices are reasonable and you can find matching sneakers to go with some of the handbags. I also love Baby Phat’s sportswear. It’s perfect for summer and stylish. Kimora Lee Simmons really knows what she’s doing. Her clothing line has rocketed itself to the top of the fashion industry. Baby Phat clothing is stylish and sexy, and is basically the number one female hip-hop brand around. They even carry plus size now, so even plus sized women can look sexy in Baby Phat.

Eric had his Mini Gourmet cooking class again today. This time they made these things called Bacon Cheeseburger Roll-ups. They are really yummy and easy to make. He didn’t remember the recipe exactly, but he told me they got it off the Kraft website, so I went and found it myself so I could share it.
Ingredients:
* 1 lb. lean ground beef
* 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
* 1/2 cup chopped onions (about 1 small)
* 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
* 1 pkg. (13.8 oz.) refrigerated pizza crust
# PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Cook ground beef, bacon and onions in large skillet on medium-high heat until ground beef is evenly browned, stirring occasionally. Drain; return meat mixture to skillet. Add VELVEETA; cook until completely melted, stirring frequently. Cool 10 min.
# UNROLL pizza dough onto baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Press into 15×8-inch rectangle. Top evenly with meat mixture. Roll up dough, starting at one of the long sides. Rearrange, if necessary, so roll is seam-side down on baking sheet.
# BAKE 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown. Cut diagonally into six slices to serve.

He’s so proud of himself! He loves the fact that he gets to cook and bring home the things he makes to share with me. He even asked if he could make this for dinner for us one night. I think I’ll let him, but of course, with tons of supervision.
