Hey everyone.

If you read Angela’s other blog you’d know that she isn’t able to get on the computer right now unfortunately. But she should be back soon!

Until then I, a friend of hers, will be updating. :)

Win a $15 GoDaddy e-Gift Card

Being a single mom, I know how important saving money can be. I have several domains registered with GoDaddy, so when someone offers me the opportunity to win a GoDaddy gift card and save myself some money, I’m ALL for it.

This website, www.runtslife.com is currently running a 5 week long contest. For the next five weeks, you can win a $15 Godaddy E-Gift Card. The winner each week will be randomly selected on Sunday evening (of each week) around 8 pm GMT. For anyone who uses GoDaddy as their registrar, they know how awesome GoDaddy is and what a great prize this is. You can use this e-gift card to make any type of purchase through GoDaddy.Com. There are several ways in which to be entered into this contest and here they are:

1. Comment on any post on runtslife.com (1 entry each)
2. Digg this post (1 entry)
3. Stumble this entry (1 entry)
4. Subscribe to runtslife.com’s RSS feed (1 entry)
5. Blog about this competition on your own blog (5 entries)

I obviously chose to blog about the competition. Good luck to anyone who enters!!

Viscosity – Science For Kids

Here’s a simple science experiment that my son and I did recently. It’s a little experiment that is used to compare the viscosity, or thickness, of different liquids.

For our experiment we used water, cooking oil and maple syrup. You’ll need to use liquids that are at least a little transparent so that you can see through them. Fill either 3 jars or glasses each with one of the liquids you have chosen. Drop a marble into the water and use a stop watch with a second hand to determine how long it takes to fall to the bottom. Record the result on a piece of paper. Do the same with the other liquids, and then compare to see which one took the longest. Discuss with your child which took the longest and why.

See? I told ya it was simple. If you’ve got any fun ideas for science experiments, comment or email me and let me know. I’d love to hear your ideas. :)
