The Kiddo’s New Phone

So, my son has been through a few phones so far. He’s had the firefly, 3 or 4 of them actually. He’s had this cheap little Motorola, which still works even though I’ve washed it – twice. And more recently I finally gave in to him getting his own camera phone. He loves it so much. I got him the Motorola Razr v3, and he puts it to use very well. I know I previously said I didn’t think he was ready for a camera phone, but we’ll see how it works out. He really enjoys being able to take pictures. I like that the phone is so super flat, and it’s comfortable to use when it’s opened up. The speaker on it is great, also. I guess I’ll stop singing it’s praises though.. afterall it is just a cell phone. By the way, I’ve got the pink one just like it. :D

Just thought I’d share. :P

Just a boring day…

My son is at my mom’s until tomorrow. I guess he and his grandpa got kind of bored today, cause he was blowing up my cell for apparently no reason whatsoever. Anyway, I guess my mom finally got sick of them bugging and gave them some money to go eat at some local chinese buffet. It’s funny cause he hasn’t called once since he called to tell me he was going out to eat.

My mom said he has some sort of weird rash on his tummy. He has had this one red mark for awhile, and he has eczema, and sometimes has trouble with it, so I’m not sure if it’s related to that. She said it happened after he went swimming.. he has these red blotches on his stomach. I hope it’s nothing serious. If it doesn’t go away soon, I’ll end up having to make him a Dr’s appointment.

It’s been a pretty quiet day otherwise. I have some stuff I need to get done… laundry, dishes, etc. I’ve been under the weather for the last few days. I think there’s a virus going around, I’m not sure. Anyway, I’m boring, I know. :)

Getting My Learn On…

I’ve been thinking about going to school, to get a degree in web-design and/or graphic-design. I mean, I am pretty good with coding and web-design, but having a degree would really benefit me because I sometimes think I might like to start my own web-design company. I dunno, I mean I could easily do it now, but having a degree and also learning more about graphic-design would probably help in the long run. There are so many designers and publishers out there now, though, so I’d have to be really good at what I do, and unique. I could probably even team up with someone who’s really amazing at graphic-design if need be and we could really get something going. It’s just a thought, one that I’ve been having for quite some time. My ultimate goal is to one day when I’m like 45-50 I want to actually teach web publishing. I want to wait until my son is grown though, and I’ve written that book I’ve been dreaming of writing for years, lol. :(
