Quickie

Earlier I dropped Eric off at the local community center for a field trip I signed him up for. I guess it’s a field trip. It’s basically an all day thing where the kids go to a petting zoo, a scavenger hunt, then to play mini golf. He’s never played mini golf before. I’m sure he’ll tell me all about it when I pick him up this afternoon though. It only cost $20.00 for the day and they provide the children with lunch and a snack, so it’s really not a bad deal. I figured it was something he would like to do. In July he has the mini gourmet children’s cooking classes and the mad scientist labs at the community center. I really like that place, lol. I think I mentioned in here before that I used to go there myself as a child. It was fun back then, but now it’s way nicer with a lot more fun things to do.

I need to remember to enroll him in swimming lessons in August.

I know, right? I never got to do any of that kind of stuff when I was a kid!

Keep your kid quiet busy don’tcha? I don’t remember anything awesome like that when I was growing up…

Yes, I try to keep him a little busy. I don’t overwhelm him, though. My reasoning is simple. Boredom gets you in alot of trouble sometimes. I remember being a kid very well, and I remember getting myself into a ton of trouble when I was bored. lol. My mom probably wished there was stuff like that to do when I was a kid..

;P
