Well today is the last day of Eric’s little summer day camp thing. He loved it. I’m definitely going to enroll him next year. He’s got a children’s cooking class next month and a science thing, too.. and then after that I really don’t know. I am trying to figure out what to do with him to keep him busy for the summer. I’m going to get him into swimming lessons, and I’m going to purchase him an I.D for the local community center. Our community center is really nice and well maintained, and it’s overall a great place for kids to hang out. It’s got a game room and a skate park. I used to go there when I was a kid, but they’ve made tons of upgrades.
Anyway, I’ve got to come up with some more stuff to keep him occupied this summer. Otherwise, with the heat and all, he’ll probably just want to hang out inside and play video games and look at star wars crap on youtube.

That community center sounds really awesome. That’s a great idea. Too, you can make sure he reads some books rather than playing video games all day. But it’s true that if you find some good activities that would be the best for him.
