Plastic Surgery

Many people in this day and age use plastic surgery as a way to help themselves feel better about the way that they look. I find myself on the fence about the subject. I mean if you are really that unhappy about the way you look, or if you have been disfigured, then I don’t see anything wrong with a little augmentation or enhancement. I feel that beauty itself is in the eye of the beholder, meaning what you might find attractive, another person may not find attractive at all. I do understand however, if you just geniunely dislike what you see when you look in the mirror, or you want to feel better about yourself. I don’t think, though, that if you have a low self esteem that it’ll be immediately fixed by getting a Breast Enlargement, but I can see how for some it might help them to feel a little more confident.

I actually have a good friend who got Breast Reduction because her breasts were too large and it causing her back problems. Not to mention that it was very difficult findinga bra to fit her comfortably. She had to get them custom made. She said it was a simple procedure, but the recovery time was a bit of a hassle. You need to take a few weeks off of work, and you can’t really do anything strenuous. After about 2 weeks the stitches are removed and you can go on with your normal every day life. I personally think my friend looks and feels better. That’s an instance where I think having plastic surgery is reasonable, and beneficial to a person’s lifestyle. Just don’t over do it.
