Well, I know I said I felt like watching HGTV, but it kind of got boring. I used to like this Divine Design show, but I’ve lost interest in it for some reason. Oh well.
I was sitting here thinking about a conversation I had with my mother while I was at her house earlier, and I was wondering something. See, my son will not eat rice of any kind. He absolutely refuses. I was telling my mom about this, and she said when I was a child I would not eat rice either. She told me it’s because I thought it looked like little bugs or worms or something? I don’t know.. but I’ve tried everything I possibly can to get my son to eat rice. I’ve made flavored rice, whole grain, wild, fried, and plain white rice.. and he will not touch it. He will also not eat anything that has rice in it. Even if one little piece of rice gets in his food or touches it, he wants nothing to do with it. So this brings me to what I was wondering. Are a lot of children like that? Do other parents have such a hard time getting their child to eat rice? And what is their kid’s reasons for not eating it? Just curious. If you have kids or younger sisters/brothers, or you yourself will not eat rice, HOW COME?!

Today my son’s grandfather told me of his plans to take all of his grandchildren to Disneyland next summer. This of course includes my son, and I am so excited for him because he’s always wanted to go and I know he’ll have an amazing time. I guess they have plans to stay at the Disneyland Anaheim hotel for a week. I’m not sure exactly how much it costs but I searched around on the net and found that if you use TravelHERO.com to book your hotel accomodations you will save a ton of money. They help you find hotels and make reservations and they are even able to help you reserve a car if you need one.

Well the kiddo is at my parent’s house for the weekend. I gave him a little bit of money because the local church over there is having a humongous garage sale type fundraiser thing tomorrow and he will probably want to buy a few things. I’m hoping he finds some cute stuff. I’m like “Call Mommy if you see anything she would like.” LOL ;x
I’m rather enjoying the peace and quiet, but it is kind of boring and idk, I do get lonely. But I absolutely need the time to myself. Everyone does, sometimes. I do miss him though, which I think is normal for a mom, right?
I’m going to spend some of this quiet time to get the books listed that I’m going to be selling. I’m also going to sell a few clothing items as well. I would do it on ebay, but I absolutely refuse to sell anything on ebay and give them even more money. That company is so greedy, it’s unreal. Anyways, sorry for being so random, but I just felt like blogging. Now I feel like watching HGTV. Ciao.
