Since Eric wants to get involved in martial arts this year, I have to come up with the money to buy him a uniform and some other stuff he’ll need. It’s kind of pricey, so I am considering having a little fundraiser of sorts to raise the money for his uniform and supplies. There are several different ways to raise money, but I am considering fundraising car magnets because not only is it a good way to raise some money, but it’s also good marketing and advertising. I mean if I sell each magnet for about five dollars I could raise enough money to get his martial arts uniform and supplies in no time at all.

Eric is home sick from school today. He has a pretty ugly cough, sore throat, and stuffed up nose. He also has a low grade temp. I figured it best to keep him home rather than send him to school with a fever. If I sent him to school with a fever he would be required to stay home the following day also, and Wednesay are the school district’s Math Benchmark tests. I’m going to have to wake him here in a few and go to the store to get him some meds since I don’t really have exactly what he needs on hand. Poor baby.
Anyways, as far as Mother’s Day goes. I had an okay day. Eric let me sleep and relax most of the day which is excellent. He made me a pot of coffee, but I wouldn’t let him make me breakfast like he wanted, LOL. Nice mess!! But yeah, he can make a pretty good pot of coffee.
