The other day my boyfriend and I were talking about my credit. It’s pretty bad. We were discussing ways in which to improve my credit score, and we talked about starting to pay off some of my debts in an effort to raise my score. I started doing some research online and found a couple of decent places that offer Debt Consolidation and Credit Card Relief. To some people, not having good credit isn’t a big deal. FOr me, and a lot of other single parents in this country, having bad credit can be limiting sometimes. I know I won’t always want to live in an apartment, and when I do decide to start looking into purchasing a home for myself and my son, I will want my credit score to be a lot better than it is because I’ll have a hard time getting financing otherwise. Also, people with bad credit, or those who don’t pay off their debts, generally end up paying much higher finance charges than those with an excellent credit score.
