Being a single parent, I have to be careful how I spend my money. I’m always on the look out for discounts on some of my favorite things. One thing I do sometimes like to splurge on is magazines. My favorite magazines are Rolling Stone, Elle, Better Homes and Gardens, and Glamour Magazine. Oh, and Nickelodeon, LOL. The only problem is the prices. Magazines are quite pricey, and I can’t always afford to get my favorite magazines. Until now. I found a place online where you can get Cheap Magazines. And this place carries all the magazines I like the most. MagsForLess.Com has a huge variety of magazines at a discount price. The magazine subscriptions are the lowest I’ve seen. Now I can start getting my favorite magazines again. Yay.

Tonight my child and I baked cookies for my bf. It wasn’t hard, they were preformed and frozen little balls of dough. A few months ago my son’s school had a fundraiser and they were selling frozen Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough. These cookies are so good. Omg. I bought 3 boxes, LOL. I picked out two; chocolate chunk and MnM. My son picked out lemon coolers. The lemon ones are actually yum. Anyways, the reason I ordered 3 boxes is because it’s always good to have something on hand that you and your child can do together on like a rainy day or just for some mother-child time. It doesn’t take long and you can mostly let the kiddo do the work, all you gotta do is put the baking sheet in the oven and take it out. LOL. So basically, if you are looking for a reason to spend a little time with your kid, bake some cookies.. grab a couple of glasses of milk and sit down and have milk and warm cookies. And a little mom and child chit-chat.

I just finished cleaning my kitchen and my son’s bathroom. I have OCD with cleanliness. The kitchen wasn’t too bad, but since I barely ever go in my son’s bathroom except to clean it, it was a wreck. My son is on punishment and part of his punishment is he had to help clean his bathroom. So while I’m scrubbing the toilet I’m thinking to myself “Wow, he has to clean because he’s on punishment, but for me this is just everyday life and I really get nothing out of it except a clean toilet.” That’s when I got to thinking about starting up my own maid service. I mean I already feel like a maid anyway, and I’m not getting paid. Why not just do what I do everyday and make money doing it? MaidPro offers Cleaning Franchises, great business opportunities for people like me. A maid service franchise is the perfect opportunity to take control of your financial future while having the backing of a solid well-known company name. I think after I finish cleaning my bathroom I’ll look into it more.
