My apartment has vertical blinds. Even though I think they are kinda nice looking in general, they don’t keep out much light. Also, in my son’s room, he’s always putting things in the window and if they touch the blinds it moves them and then people can see in. I don’t really like that. When the ceiling fan is on they sway and that also leaves room for light to come in, and for people to see in. It just doesn’t seem like we get a lot of privacy with vertical blinds. My boyfriend also really hates the vertical blinds because he is kind of weird about people being able to see in. I’ve been looking at different types of blinds and I think I really like cellular blinds. Cellular Blinds block 99% of UV rays and filter 85% of visible light. That’s exactly what I need, to be honest. Something that doesn’t let in alot of light and is also private. On Justblinds.com there is a great selection of cellular shades, and they also utilize the bill me later feature. That’s always a plus. Their website is very easy to navigate, and I love the huge selection of blinds and shades. Looks like I’m getting new blinds and getting rid of these horrible verticle ones!

I’ve been meaning to do this for ages, but it’s a tedious job and I’ve been putting it off. I’m going through Eric’s books and I’m sorting them so that I can sell them here. We went through his bookshelf a few weeks ago and gathered up all the books that he doesn’t read anymore… the “little kid books” as he puts it. I’ve got about 60, and I’m going to start listing them here, so anyone with kids between the ages of say 2-6 might wanna check em out. I’m going to use the money from selling his old books to buy some more books that are a bit more on his level now. He’s going to be 9 this year, afterall.

Are you familiar with SUI? It’s stress urinary incontinence. It’s something that thousands of women deal with. Some develop the problem after having children and others because of age. It happens. Now, with laperoscopic surgery Dr. Miklos and Dr. Moore, both world renowned surgeons, are able to offer an effective and minimally evasive treatment for SUI. The procedure is much like that of the tension-free mid-urethral sling but only one incision is needed. The single incision mini sling can be done in 5-10 minutes with laperoscopic surgery. Laperoscopic surgery has become more popular in recent years due to a quicker recovery, less noticeable scars, and infection being less likely because the incisions are so small.
