School Fundraisers

My son’s school has quite a few fundraisers every year. During the last fundraiser, which was just a month or so ago, the kids sold cookie dough. The time before that, the children sold Christmas decorations, gift wrap, and sweet treats. Schools are always looking for new and innovative ways to raise money for events and new learning materials as well as renovations. Last year the computer lab got all new Dell computers because last year’s fundraisers were so successful. While I was looking up information on fundraisers I came across this a website for a company called Schoolpop. I’ve never seen anything like this before. This company takes simple elementary school fundraisers to a whole new level. What I like about this Schoolpop is that children don’t actually have to sell anything. Schoolpop has partnered with hundreds of merchants and service providers nationally, and all school supporters have to do is shop at their favorite stores and designate a portion of the proceeds to the school of their choice. It’s so simple. The website itself is pretty easy to navigate and explains in great detail everything that you can do to support your favorite school.
