I know I’ve been writing a lot about mother’s day, but It’s one of my favorite “holidays” and I am very particular about gifts that I pick out for loved ones. I remember one year for I bought my mom a big bouquet of red roses, I got her a collectable plate, and a ruby ring. Of course I was a lot younger and didn’t have a child back then, so I could afford to splurge. She loved her gifts though. I lived closer to her back then, however so gift giving was easier. I’m not sure if she would like flowers or roses, though. I remember one mother’s day I got roses from my now ex boyfriend. I actually cried, but I think it’s because I’d never received roses before and they were so beautiful. So I may go with roses. Besides what woman doesn’t LOVE roses?
